Congratulations to you both. By reading this page you have finalised all your other wedding details, the location, the guest list, the reception centre, the bridal party and now for the ceremony itself!
The most important characteristic of your wedding day is the ceremony in which you will pledge yourself to each other. In the presence of your community of family and friends, the words and music you choose is what makes your wedding a wonderful celebration of love.
I would be privileged and honoured to officiate at your wedding and I would work with you both to create the elements of your ceremony that is unique to your relationship together. At our first interview with each other, and if you decide that I am suitable for your wedding ceremony, a second interview is arranged.
At our second interview we begin the completion of Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM), proof of identity is needed, your birth certificate and if you have been married before, you will need your Certificate of Divorce. We then finalise the Wedding Ceremony Date by paying a non-refundable booking fee. As an authorised Civil Marriage Celebrant I am legally bound to furnish you with information regarding Pre-Marriage Relationship Education.
I have many resources available to me to help prepare the ceremony to your exact wishes. I am available to you for consultation at any time in person, by phone, or email to ensure your satisfaction that the ceremony is right for you. A week before the Wedding we will have a rehearsal at the location you have chosen, for best results this usually takes place at the same time as the Wedding Ceremony to get the best vantage point for the light and backdrop to the ceremony. The rehearsal is essential to ensure that everyone involved in the wedding party feels at ease with the role they will play on the day.
I will ensure that all documentation is completed and lodged with the Registrar of Births, Deaths, and Marriages.
